If you are a chocolate fan and are looking for a sophisticated and irresistible dessert, this Chocolate Tart will win your heart. Simple to prepare, but with a flavor that will impress everyone around you, especially if it is made with our Alma do Cacau chocolates, without additives and with authentic flavors , it is an experience for true cocoa lovers.

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 200g digestive biscuits (or cocoa biscuits for a more intense flavor)
  • 100g melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

For the filling:

  • 200g of Alma do Cacau chocolate (we recommend 70% or 85% for a more intense flavor)
  • 200ml fresh cream
  • 50g butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional, depending on your taste)
  • A pinch of fleur de sel (to intensify the chocolate flavor)

For decoration:

  • Fresh raspberries or fleur de sel flakes
  • Cocoa powder for dusting (optional)

Preparation Method

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits until they are finely ground, almost powdered.
  2. Mix the crushed cookies with the cocoa powder and melted butter until a compact dough forms.
  3. Line the bottom of a tart tin (preferably 24 cm in diameter) with this mixture, pressing down firmly so that it is uniform.
  4. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling.
  5. Melt the Alma do Cacau chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave (in 30-second intervals to prevent burning).
  6. In a saucepan, heat the cream until it almost boils and then mix in the melted chocolate. Stir well until you get a creamy, smooth mixture.
  7. Add the butter and honey, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  8. If you like, add a pinch of fleur de sel to give a special touch to the chocolate flavor.
  9. Remove the base from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate filling over the biscuit base.
  10. Smooth the surface with a spatula and refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until the filling is firm.
  11. Before serving, garnish with fresh raspberries or sprinkle with fleur de sel flakes if you prefer a contrast in flavor.
  12. For an extra touch, you can also sprinkle the pie with cocoa powder.

    Tips:

    • For a special touch: If you prefer, you can add a little coffee liqueur or almond liqueur to the filling for a more sophisticated flavor.
