Dark Chocolate Pancakes

Who can resist fluffy and delicious pancakes with a special touch of chocolate? This simple yet flavorful recipe will win over everyone's taste buds. Let's get to it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of milk (can be vegetable)
  • 1 cup of oat or wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or other sweetener to taste
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Chopped Alma do Cacau chocolate , to taste

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, beat the egg with the milk and honey.
  2. Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, mixing well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  3. Add the chopped chocolate, stirring gently.
  4. Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease if necessary.
  5. Drop small portions of batter into the pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface (about 2 minutes). Flip and cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Repeat the process until the dough is finished.

Serve the pancakes while they’re still warm, with extra pieces of Alma do Cacau chocolate melting on top, fresh fruit or a drizzle of honey. Every bite is an explosion of flavor!
