Chocolate Chip Cookies
If there's one thing everyone loves , it's a good homemade cookie , fresh out of the oven, with the chocolate chips still melted.
Today, we bring you a foolproof recipe for making chocolate chip cookies that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — perfect to accompany a coffee, tea or simply to satisfy that craving for something sweet!
Ingredients
- 320g wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 200g unsalted butter, melted
- 200g brown sugar
- 100g white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
- 340g of small pieces of Alma do Cacau chocolate
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the melted butter with the sugars until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well, and then the vanilla essence.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Add the chocolate chips and stir gently.
- Using a tablespoon or ice cream scoop, make small balls of dough and place them on the tray, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Tips for Perfect Cookies
- If you like your cookies crispier, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Try variations by adding walnuts, hazelnuts or a touch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh for longer.
