Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

If there's one thing everyone loves , it's a good homemade cookie , fresh out of the oven, with the chocolate chips still melted.

Today, we bring you a foolproof recipe for making chocolate chip cookies that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — perfect to accompany a coffee, tea or simply to satisfy that craving for something sweet!

Ingredients

  • 320g wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 200g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 100g white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 340g of small pieces of Alma do Cacau chocolate

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the melted butter with the sugars until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well, and then the vanilla essence.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  6. Add the chocolate chips and stir gently.
  7. Using a tablespoon or ice cream scoop, make small balls of dough and place them on the tray, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Tips for Perfect Cookies

  • If you like your cookies crispier, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Try variations by adding walnuts, hazelnuts or a touch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh for longer.
